Tiger Shroff is a dream to watch while dancing. He is a fit actor who knows how to dance and emote. Combining action with dance, Sabbir Khan brought a film called Munna Michael where there is lots of action as well as Dance by the lead actors, Tiger Shroff, Nidhi Agarwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Yes, Nawaz would be seen dancing for the first time. Excited, well let us tell you the movie review of Munna Michael and leave on you whether to watch it or not.
Munna (Tiger Shroff) is shown an orphan who was raised by an old man cum dancer named Michael (Ronit). He lives in a crawl and grows up idolizing Michael Jackson. But his life takes a turn when a goon, Mahinder (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) hires him to teach him to dance. It is a very fun segment where Munna is teaching Mahinder how to dance. He does so to impress the love of his life Dolly (Nidhi Agarwal) who is a dancer from Meerut.
But wait for Munna and Mahinder both love Dolly and how their Bromance turns into an ugly fight is what the climax has to show to the viewers.
Tiger Shroff is not just a great dancer but he is the best among action stars in the industry at present. Showing off his chiseled body, stunning dance moves but this is all what we have seen in Heropanti and Baaghi, what’s new then? Well, there is nothing new as in every 10-15 minutes either there is a nicely choreographed dance number or a fight sequence. Nawaz is a delight to watch but seems to be wasted in the movie. His Rajasthani Dialect as a goon seems very hilarious and non-fitting.
Nidhi Agarwal’s first film is not so promising. She is underwhelming and does not garner screen presence especially when Tiger is there.
Music in the film is given by Tanishk Bagchi and Meet Bros. Songs like “Main Hoon” and “Ding Dang “are groovy and foot tapping, rest all the songs seems a bit of average. Tiger dances to every single tune and this is what makes the music, even more, the delight to watch than to listen.
If you are a dancer or a Tiger Shroff fan, you would not be disappointed with his breathtaking dance moves and fight scenes but apart from that, the movie hardly offers anything. It’s actually a No Brainer movie with a twist of dance, action, and humor.
